Russian Orthodox Church

Santa Rosa is pretty bland and somewhat devoid of landmarks, but I think this one is quite appropriate as my mind is on the courage of the Ukrainian people as they continue to stand up to the Russian mad man. I just can't get my head around such savagery and fear for the world as it grapples with the impossible situation in Ukraine.

The Ukrainian community is gathering here to pray for their countrymen who are, after all, Russian. The golden domes of this church which stands alone next to a busy road are a landmark for the community now. I hope their prayers are heard....
