BMC (Be More Chill - Ned Vizzini)

Strava Day 275/ 75 Hard off phase Day 30.
Blipping this "looking up" shot after a good lunch here at my favourite "crash place." Excellent customer service, affordable food and lots of space. It's a one shot, lomography style: Don't think, just shoot!  Did not  overthink the composition and literally did not move to  "perfect" the already perfect. Congrats self.

Title is inspired by a local hospital near this place where Gramps and B suffered a trauma during the sudden rise of COVID positive cases. They went to Bicol Medical Center, a government owned hospital because it's the only one accepting patients. All the other hospitals no longer had beds. Gramps initially went there because of his fluctuating sodium level: He gets low sodium even if he purposely eats junk food and has to take prescription for it. Without using Google, I think it is quite common for highly active individuals and athletes. However am not an expert on anything, I just enjoy reading and learning so if you have a doubt as to the veracity of whatever am saying, there's always Google, Quora, Wikipedia, Reddit and other portals where you could ask.

Since I have mentioned Pides Aura Jimenez Orata in a previous blip, this is also virtual thank you to Doctor Jeffrey M. Valencia (high school batch mate,  Paulinian, fellow writer and editor at The Pillars Publication, fellow Remontados (we attempted the Debate Society then but we're both introverts) for taking the time out of his busy schedule to make sure Gramps and B were at least entertained by the nurses who are overworked and underpaid.

Spontaneous remarks from Pides during our first meet up:
Pides: Aanhin mo ba magic tape? Poster making contest? (Why did you ask for magic tape as pasalubong from Manila? Are you joining a poster making contest?) *Laughter from both of us*

Pi (A) : Um, I need to get up. I need to make it home before bedtime.

Pides: *laughing* That's the funniest line I heard from you ever.

We (B and P) are grateful everyday to still be alive and creating, sharing and making people smile when they see how their moments and stories are preserved in a photograph. Most of all, we are grateful for T. He is, always the "boss baby."  Speaking of which, he kept on saying the name of Boss Baby's character last night after dinner.

Funny line from T the other day:
Wow!! You really don't know how to relax.

Here's to you choosing light and joy always. Agyamanak (Thank you in Ilokano, a dialect here in the Philippines.).
