It looked so promising for a bit too. I was in the house all day as there is someone painting the windowframes, and the front, back and garage doors for us. He'd just decided to apply a second coat to the front door at 3 o'clock, then at ten past the heavens opened washing most of the freshly applied coat of paint off.

Poor guy, but I have to say I'm glad it's him rather than me doing it.
