We met up with Jessica for lunch today after ages. She chose a restaurant in Marina Mall, somewhere we don't visit often enough. We chatted for almost five hours about everything under the sun (but mostly about EXPO 2020 and the war in Ukraine). I got a quick snap for posterity before we said goodbye.

It took a while to get home. I had forgotten about Thursday night traffic! To make things worse, we had to go to Bur Juman to deposit some money via the banks' ATM. (Major eye roll). There was a long queue for it!

Prior to that, G had two hours in school while I worked from Shakespeare. As we were at our lunch venue an hour early, we drove on to Bluewater and enjoyed having a mooch around. I finally saw where Dubai's branch of Madame Tussaud's is located!
