Damp FF

I set off up to the village this morning to go to the Pharmacy and Post office before calling in to the Congregational Churches Tittle Tattle Tea shop for coffee and a chat.
Heading down the drive I decided to blip these pretty little Violas that Chris has just  planted up in the lovely wall top pots that have been a feature of our drive since the wall was rebuilt by our neighbours a couple of years ago.. They will fill the gap before he does some summer planting in them. Last year it was Osteospurnums.

They were selling home made cakes this morning in support of the Ukraine humanitarian disaster. Had to buy some of course!

Just had some lunch and then I’m going back up the village to the Congregational church again for the World Day of Prayer service,  (formerly the Women’s World Day of Prayer), our curate Anna is taking the service.

Friday again, still wet here in the UK, hope you all have a good weekend whatever the weather, valuing your freedoms.
