Female ...

Downy Woodpecker.

Depending on what I usually celebrate on Friday ... either Squirrel Blip Friday or Flower Friday ... I failed on both accounts this week.

I did actually take pictures of some squirrels and flowers but then when I was out front looking for flowers I saw this little female downy in our neighbor's dogwood tree.  The same dogwood tree that I blipped last Friday ... minus the ice this week.  Best viewed large.

After dinner we ran out to Walmart but other than that we were home most of the day.  Even though it was fairly warm today the wind was wicked so the only walk we got was inside Walmart.
