May Peace Prevail on Earth

This is the Peace pole in our Village. We have the headquarters of the World Peace Prayer Society just a few miles down the road and they planted this pole in a ceremony a number of years ago. You can see the lichen partially obscuring the inscription. It looked lovely in the sunshine with the crocuses blooming around it.
