Changes

The big thing today was going to Holy Trinity for a run-through for next weeks' World Day of Prayer service, which G is organising with Margaret. There were just a handful of stalwarts, and we quickly went through the order of service. The keyboardist came in half the way through, so we practised the songs as well. I think it will be alright on the night.

While we were there, we walked over to St. Mary's to drop off a flyer. Things are changing so much. I couldn't help noticing that the boundary wall of DESS (Dubai English Speaking School) looked so much taller and more robust. It is also newly painted. It was the same for St. Mary's school/church.

G fancied watching Hercule Poirot DVDs to unwind at the end of the day. The morning had been spent at her desk preparing for the afternoon. I got my guitar out and enjoyed practising the songs.
