Busy!

There are a lot of boxes to unpack but Ruth has more space than furniture so the boxes are mostly coralled in one room.   They will be dealt with after I go home.   But .... this did not mean that I took it easy today!   After a trip to Wickes for a jigsaw (Ruth will have other uses for it) we attacked the rotten decking.   Out of shot the worst section had collapsed and I found the remaining, decaying surface like an ice rink in the wet.   We are very happy with how it looks now.   As you can see - a good afternoon's work :-)

Using a small stool, Ruth will be able to make a kind of three point turn, lifting her wheelchair out so that she can get herself outside unaided.  After her remarkable efforts last year growing peppers and tomatoes on her windowsill, she has big plans for the garden here.

After a quick cuppa I used the last of the daylight to take Meg on a tour of Bourneville including the sports field by Cadbury World.   Some lovely sunset light in an extra pic.

Another day well spent.
