Life In Wales

A Cold but Sunny Saturday

We had a rather slow start to the day after last night's late night, but we had to go to mum's at 11am to take her armchair and TV cabinet.  Alan built the cabinet for her and set up her TV and by the time that was done, she had to go and have her lunch in the dining room.

Before heading home we had a stroll along Rhos seafront, which was quite busy as it was such a sunny day, although the wind was quite chilly.  It was good to be out though and I spotted these four ladies sat looking out to sea and thought they made a good Blip.

The rest of the day was spent with Alan building the new IKEA bed ready for our visitors next weekend, but there's a lot of parts so it's not quite finished, so he'll carry on tomorrow.  There's a rather heavy headboard which has to be fixed to the wall, and 6 drawers to build.  While he did that I had a bit of a sort out that I've been meaning to do, and then I cooked a curry for tonight.

We were both really tired, and could have gone to bed early but then we got an aurora alert on our phones, and grabbed the camera and the tripod and headed down to the beach, but unfortunately nothing was visible and it was very cold so we headed home.
