It was good to get out of the house for a while this morning and focus on our little corner of the world, away from the TV and all that’s happening in Ukraine. We’re more than grateful to have that option, believe me, to be able to move about freely and do whatever we choose to do, in peace. Ukraine is a constant reminder to never take anything for granted • Today’s highest price for a regular gallon of gas locally was $4.29, up nearly .60 from a little over a week ago. Remarkable! No complaints, let’s do what we have to do • As soon as we pulled into Tractor Supply’s parking lot, we saw this silly dog with his head sticking out of a car’s sunroof! A Weimaraner? He was obviously waiting for his owner’s return as he was facing and staring at the entrance. Not a bark or a whimper, either, and the owner was a she, by the way. Their cat food shelves were empty, and bird supplies dwindling • Afternoon showers are transitioning to snow this evening but no accumulation is expected :)
