Tiny Tuesday: Well I'm sure its Mum loves it...!

I went into the garden looking for something tiny to blip and came across this little creature - its head is only about 3 mm across (not counting its feelers). I'd have liked to use a focus stack technique but the little critter kept moving a bit so that wasn't feasible: in the end I just used a small aperture and illuminated it with flash to freeze its movement.

I read recently that slugs and snails are good for the garden - that they clean up detritus and that they prefer eating this to consuming living plants: I wish someone could convince our local ones to refrain from eating our veggies!

Many thanks to Jill (JDO) for hosting TT this month.
