A pointless journey

Bit of a rude awakening at 5.30 when Phin leapt off the bed. Quick trip to the back garden and we were back in bed in minutes. 10 minutes later he was up again and was sick by the door. After I cleaned up, he fell back to sleep till 8.30 so it wasn’t all bad. Think he’s been eating socks again!

The plumber arrived on time and fitted the new radiator, looks good but the wall it’s hung on needs done remedial work to sort out the colour behind the previous radiator.

I did a bit more work in the baby blanket whilst Mr PHL took Phin for a walk after lunch.

Miss PHL messaged just after 3 asking for some help to get some warm clothing. Confusion at the school meant a ski trip tomorrow had been understaffed so she was nominated to travel with the ski team. I picked her up and took her to the sportswear warehouse where we were both shocked by the prices and left with a single pair of leggings. Her friend Bridget cake to the rescue and offered some trousers and a jacket so we called round to her flat to collect the items before I dropped her back to her flat. As we pulled up she got word from the school that the trip was cancelled so just as well we hadn’t spent a lot of money!

I’ve wanted to blip this old market sign for a long time so took the chance when we were in the area.
