Quod oculus meus videt

Evora

It wasn't all about riding.  We took the afternoon off to visit the town of Evora,  enjoying a walk around the streets.  We'd forgotten masks but were able to get some from a local pharmacy, allowing us to visit some of the shops and attractions.  Frustratingly it started to rain while we were there, although it didn't last for long.

New guests had arrived, including a photographer from Sweden, here to capture images of the resort to update a travel agents website.  When we looked at the website you could probably understand why they were being up dated as most of the images had riders without helmets, a definite no-no in today's safety conscious world.  She roped in an other couple of guests to be models for her shots, something we were both glad we didn't have to do as she kept them involved for a good couple of hours.  While it's understood the need to market the report, it did start to irritate somewhat, particularly when they were shooting some images at the restaurant, preventing us from starting our lunch at the normal time.  You don't want to get between us and food!
