Breakfast

The worm's had it I'm afraid. Well done to the thrush. They're usually so timid but this one was intent on the worm. I stood quite nearby and watched while it stabbed and poked at the wriggler till it suddenly picked it up, swallowed it, as blipped, and flew away.

An early walk for me before the rain moves in. I'd expected it to be wet first thing but it is still dry. My grandson is on his way so the rest of the day is going to be busy with his activities. I will look at your journals later.

The news continues to frighten and upset. It's hard to see how this is going to end. I just hope the behind the scenes talks bear fruit.
