It's Buzzing

Another beautiful sunny day with a top temperature of 14C. I spent all morning doing various jobs in the garden including clearing the weed from the pond, hoeing over the raised bed and cutting back the plants in pots where needed. Whilst I was out I heard a blue tit 'shouting' at me from a tree, clearly unhappy I was in the side garden. Then it flew down to inspect the camera bird box. Hopefully it will decide to build a nest. The heather was 'buzzing' with little bees today, not much around for them at the moment I suspect. I was shattered this afternoon!

Day 728 / Day 19 of no Legal Covid Requirements in England (for my record only)
Scotland's CMO has said that their record Covid rates are being driven by the new sub variant with BA.2 accounting for c85% of cases. I've never read so many blips saying the blipper or their family / friends have recently caught Covid.  As last reported on 11/01, Covid cases in the UK rose 56% on the previous 7 days and patients admitted to hospital who had Covid were up 17% on the previous week.
