Progress from a #47 bus

Another urban cityscape grabbed from the top bus of a Lothian Buses bus.  This is the area that I've blipped before prior the terrace of houses being demolished.  The site is squashed in between a road and a high embankment and new building replaces a garage, the houses and a restaurant.  It is going to be, student accommodation, 4 or 5 stories high if I remember correctly from my time on the community Council.  The road will be shut southbound for some time to facilitate the building works.  It will completely change the area.

Earlier I'd swum for 62 minutes, written a Board paper and then just before lunch gone to Straiton to pick up the orders from Dunelm.  The redecorating continues and the mirror has been removed, in one piece. Of course, it came off quite easily. Typical!

Outside it was dreich but the day was cheered up by the excellent news of the release of Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe.  I wonder if the approach by a female Foreign Secretary made a difference, (not that I am a supporter of LT). There was more cheerful news with pics of the girls at the beach on their two day holiday to Port Dickson.  I am now thinking of June for a visit as they have school holidays then.

We had a fiendishly complicated warm up at the acting class today.  Much too complicated for our wee group.  Our sub group was even smaller as E is off with C19 and M has labyrinthitis so was taking things slowly.  I spent some time in the props cupboard.

Tonight is choir. Please could it be slightly warmer tomorrow?
