Roses from Liz and Tony

Here are the flowers that Liz and Tony brought for us yesterday. I could have blipped their present of salted caramel chocolates too - had I not eaten them all!

My first task of the day was to take Mummy hazelh to Stockbridge Health Centre. There she had an appointment about her wound and dressing with the practice nurse. We had quite a jolly time with the nurse, and with a medical student who was there to observe the proceedings. The new dressing is very secure and waterproof, so here's hoping that it doesn't 'drop off' (as the others did - allegedly...)

I managed to make it home in time to catch the end of Rachel's online supervision meeting, then Bruce came over to discuss the Platform to platform project (to create a podcast centred on LornaL's war diary). I snapped a lovely shot of Bruce to use on the project's Blipfoto journal at LornaLPodcast.

We're racing to prepare the script for Richard - our newsreader for the contemporaneous news reports to complement the war diary entries in the podcast. He's coming into the studio next week. I worked hard on the script this afternoon and Bruce is doing his bit this evening. Hopefully it will be in Richard's hands by tomorrow lunchtime.

Exercise today: none.
