White

Time to leave this morning, and we have a now familiar routine. That includes me walking down to the recycling hub with a bag of “stuff”.

En route I came across this cock pheasant There are a lot of pheasants here. I think they are released by the neighbouring estate for shooting, and some come here as a safe haven (and a source of seed beneath the bird feeders). What is certain is that this bird would make a very easy target. He may be albino, or he may be leucistic, but either way he is certainly a very uncamouflaged white.
