It was raining, but...

On day three of my personal kit lens challenge rain was drizzling, but I captured this blip despite the rain. I think the wet weather actually improved the picture. If you know the name of this flower, please tell me because I think it may be an iris, but the gardener in my family...he who planted it... calls it a flag.
