If you can't beat them...

Teal ( Ana crecca )

Clickychick suggested an impromptu visit to Leighton Moss RSPB reserve.   Anything to do with birds and I am up for it, so off we went.  The weather was perfect, we even had time to visit parts of the reserve before lunch.

I visited every hide (all 7 of them ) Clickychick had had enough and missed out the Eric Morecambe hide.  Our timing was perfect, all the birds in Spring breeding plumage, birds singing, Bittern booming and even a Water Rail calling.

The blip is a pair of Teal outside the Lower Hide.  Teal were everywhere so I took the chance of many shots.
