Joe Tree Day

After completing our chores in Aberdeen , Mrs CBL and I accompanied by our daughter went out for lunch, starting a series of events which over the next few days  will take in birthday and Mother’s Day celebrations.

Later in the afternoon we went to Duthie Park for a walk in the warm sunshine.  I liked this view of the bandstand as well as the trees and shadows which frame the scene.

A photo of trees is appropriate today as it is Joe Tree Day 2022.  Joe is the founder member of Blipfoto which he established in the summer of 2004 and eventually went online in 2006.

Today we are the beneficiaries of Joe’s original idea and from the outset to this day Blip gives many people much pleasure as Joe intended it should.

Also today it is six years since Cailleach’s original idea of Wild Wednesday, the Blip challenge that isn’t a challenge, got underway.  I have enjoyed posting 312 WildWed blips and I am grateful to Cailleach as it has given me much fun over the years.
