Today We are In Perth

The primary purpose of our visit to Perth was to obtain the first MOT certificate for the ‘CactusFBI’.

Whilst the car was being examined We headed into the town centre.

On the way we encountered a pedestrian crossing for children. I was taken the Ukraine colours. Many of the houses and shops that we passed were showing support for Ukraine.

We lunched at our favourite restaurant, the Grand ITALIA. We were early and the only people having lunch so early. Among many discussions we had with Mario, we talked about the Ferrari Grand Prix Team, the Fabulous Food and the difficult last two years.

We returned by a different route, passing through the grounds of the Black Watch Museum to see Alan Herriot’s bronze of a piper.

It is a very warm day today. and we walked about 4 miles.

Arriving back at Arnold Clark’s Garage the Cactus had been given an MOT certificate and a complete wash and vacuum.
