In The Garden

We regularly saw hedgehogs in the garden last year but they suddenly stopped appearing in September. So it was quite a surprise to see this little fellow wandering around at lunchtime today. We gave him some food and water, which he gratefully consumed before departing as suddenly as he had arrived. Though not before having a massive (relative to his size) crap on the lawn. We will have to set up the trail camera to see if he is going to be a regular visitor over the coming months.
Managed to achieve a lot today. Amp and speakers boxed up ready to trade in next week. Bass collected by my friend who will deliver it to R&T tomorrow so they can fit the new pickup. Tiler came and finished off the little area by the door which couldn’t be done until the new door had been fitted. The old and new corners have been fastened on to the antique trunk. I even found time for a session in the gym. And Mrs C finally got somewhere with Apple and Adobe in her six week struggle to get Lightroom to work properly on her new MacBook. A bit more testing may be required to confirm the issue has definitely been resolved, but it’s looking hopeful at the moment.
All of which means we can set off for our long weekend in Chester tomorrow with no worries about things left undone. With good weather forecast, and a trip to the zoo planned, I’m looking forward to an enjoyable - and restful - few days away.
