Life through the lens...

Congratulations

Main photo should really be my extra, but I have pinched it from our daughter- in law’s Blip.
Thanks to the invention of YouTube, thus afternoon we were able to watch our eldest granddaughter, Hannah, receive her BSC ( Hons) Nursing ( Child) at Huddersfield University.
As she was on the front row the cameraman kept zooming in on her.
We are so very proud. Hasn’t had it easy during Covid, and spent much of the time on the children’s ward at Pinderfield Hospital as well as doing her studies for her exams.
Well done Hannah. x

We pass this pub, The Horse and Jockey, on our way to Birstall Market to buy fish.
The oldest pub in the town. First licensed in 1750.
Will have to visit another day.

We got a surprise when we saw an old friend of MrC’s helping plant up one of the tubs in the market place.
P. is one of the team of volunteers who keep the little town looking so beautiful.
Their parents were best friends and P and Mr C have known each other since childhood, although haven’t been in contact for years. However have said we will now keep in contact.

Another warm sunny day. The brown bin was emptied this morning, and after more gardening, is now almost full again.

Today has been a good day.
