Signs of the times

The end of a long and exciting day, with the steps up from the car deck on the ferry showing the company logo on their mat (I've always liked the Celtic feel to the shapes in this) and support for Ukraine on the stairwell.

Well, we loved being in the motorhome so much after the initial acclimatisation that we thought we'd just ask the Sales team at the hire company for advice and whatever. And came away, having put down a deposit, and expect (shock here from everyone, including the Sales chap) delivery in a matter of weeks. Golly! We'd expected it to be much later in the year but the way the system works happened to go in our favour. Still reeling a little bit, but in a good way!

These things are not cheap. I'm committing my inheritance to this enterprise and think Mum and Dad would completely understand our reasoning. We are already excited by the prospect of future meandering and I'm thrilled that LH is also enthusiastic.

So that was our time south used up. An uneventful journey north and over the firth to home. The laundry has started already!
