This is not a car...

...but we did buy one today!  We went and did a test drive on a new Toyota Corolla, then came home and bought a second hand one on Cazoo.  Very exciting.  It's being delivered on Friday :)

Mothers' Day today - not a good time to try and drive anywhere!  Took ruddy ages, but never mind.  I called my Mum on the way back to wish her a happy day - she was off to my sister's for a late lunch - and messaged later to say she'd had a lovely time.  Tim also called his Mum this afternoon.  We'd ordered her a planter from M&S and she'd had two different ones delivered by them.  Bit weird, but she was very happy with them, so we'll let M&S off (and not mention that they've given us two for one) ;)

The weather's taken a turn for the colder today, but the Japanese maple outside our flat is going full-on spring now.
