Mothering Sunday In Essex

My daughter, grandson and I went for lunch at Sheesh in Chigwell. It was lovely driving our S2000s through Epping Forest to the former Ye Olde Kings Head, which dates from 1547. It's the second oldest public house in England. Once our cars had been valet parked we sipped cocktails on the terrace. The grilled fish and meats were delicious and the salads vast. Oliver had hoped to see some of the special guests who frequent the place but we didn't recognise anyone.

When I got home I took Ollie dog for a walk and we saw a female kestrel on the northerly boiler house chimney. Reynard stared at us from across the field. I think he has a problem with his right eye.
