Thirty minutes to blip

"You've got thirty minutes to blip."

This morning we got started on the cleaning and photographing of things we need to sell before we leave Oman. There's not that much really as we (a) got rid of a lot of stuff in the move to our current place only ten months ago and (b) don't tend to hoard much. One man's junk is another man's treasure is certainly true out here and there are loads of expatriate Indians and Filipinos (I've no idea why the 'Ph' from the country doesn't survive to the nationality when writing) who would love to get hold of some of the stuff we're selling but we can't be arsed with haggling and other such nonsense and so will just stick the photos on a word document and pin it up at Larissa's school (rather than the supermarket billboard). Some plants and a couple of tatty sun loungers were too much effort to bother with so we just dropped them by the communal bin and they were gone within 2 minutes. (I photographed the happy gentleman who picked the loungers up but prefer this image.)

"You've got fifteen minutes to blip."

We popped down to the cinema this afternoon to see Star Trek. Very entertaining with great characters and acting, some witty writing and decent visual effects. There's not much else out this week so we'll probably see it again at some point.

Two minutes to browse before some Haloumi Bean Salad and a DVD.

Phew.
