Lights

Oh, what a lovely day!  I should have got up slightly earlier than I did by hey ho, it's the weekend. Did the usual Saturday things, including moving back some furniture and cleaning shelves, and then some outside things: rinsed the car, washed the garage door, read the instructions for the Hot Box.  I've moved it away from the back door given the advice about rats. 

Then did a bit of what I do best, sat in the garden and soaked up the sun. It's not even April and so much is out already and the daffodils are amazing., though the west border is a wee bit bereft. 

J and D came round on the way to our meal out with Mum.  D tried to change light switches but it will need a professional.  The old wiring and a some other foibles meant he couldn't complete the task.

We were headed for a meal out with Mum before Mothering Sunday and before J & D head back to France next week.  We went to The Salisbury and it wasn't good.  We need to find somewhere else that has easy access and good parking. 

Stopped in past Aldi on the way home and then watched a bit of tv -'Killing Eve'. 

I had meant to blip the 4 of us this evening but it didn't seem right.  Instead my outside lights lighting up the darkness.  Clocks spring forward tonight, an hour less in bed.
