A Day In The Life

Farewell, March

Blipper mambo says our blip is always in front of us. This morning while sipping my French Vanilla coffee I took her advice and looked down at Ducky who had his head resting on my hand enjoying a gentle chin rub. How could I resist that sweet furry face? Blip done and Cheers to mambo :) • A gray drizzly day accompanied us to the grocery store, the seed store, the gas station and then the river. Not much happening at The Boat Landing but we did see a group of male and female mergansers • Although hospitalizations and case counts are “low” we’re still wearing masks inside. The Omicron variant (BA.2) is here in our state and more contagious than the original. It appears the symptoms are just as mild, maybe milder, but we don’t want to risk getting it. In a week or two our pharmacy will be giving out the second booster shot which we’re eligible for. By what we saw today doing errands there are only a few of us who feel the same. At this point in our lives we practice the adage, better safe than sorry • Final Four basketball games are tomorrow and Saturday!
