Xanthoria parietina ...

...I think. Really just branching out on lichen identification. Startling as this Xanthoria parietina seems, its frightfully common, although I believe you only see these yellow discs in the Spring.

Nice wee potter about the garden in the morning. A pal came for a late lunch (celery and cardamom soup and lemon and poppy seed muffins) and then we had a long walk in the Locher Woods and a good natter.

Feeling pretty ropey though, so an early night beckons.
