Chimney

The house soon has got a chimney, my landlord and his son, who is a carpenter, is installing a stove and this afternoon they were making a hole in the roof, starting to put the chimney up. By tomorrow it should be finished and we only have to wait for the chimney-sweeper to come by and certify it. Then I can have a fire. Good, because it's freezing here, the temperature only went up to 3,5 degrees today.

It's a joy to see the birds feeding off what I'm serving them. A frequent visitor is the Greater woodpecker, the pigeons stay on the ground, they don't even try to sit on the feeder.
