Survivor

Our cherry tree was damaged years ago during a tropical storm. The whole top was broken out. We pruned and pampered it and today it is beautiful even though it has no center stem. Well worth saving. Good news from my Dr. today. During our walk this evening a neighborhood dog jumped us. It scared Sugar and I stupid. Finally the owner strolled out and called the dog off. Neither of us were hurt but I had a hard time walking home.
Sheer admiration for the Ukrainian people. They come to mind when I look at this cherry tree.
