The naughty bits ....

.... of a magnolia flower.  Just the one flower on Fido's still rather small Magnolia soulangeana beside W's shed, and that has been touched by the recent frosts.

I spent quite some time cutting out 32 petals to make a flower skirt for Robin - the final result will probably be blipped in a day or two - and then an hour doing some ironing and sorting the dry washing.  As I sit here, I've just remembered there's a load of towels in the washing machine that I should hang up to dry in the studio.

W made some brackets for temporary wood storage in the garage, so we can start bringing wood up from his workshop.  He's arranged collection of some wardrobes by a charity next week - so we need to clear the rest of our clothes out - clothes storage on the spare bed may be the answer for the remaining few weeks.

As I was sitting in the studio, there was briefly some rather nice light behind the yellow magnolia, which hasn't yet quite flowered - see extra.
