Street artist

We went into London today with the intention of visiting the London Salon of Photography exhibition at Hanbury Hall just off Brick Lane.  However, the exhibition was closed for the day because of a function in the hall.  There was no mention of that on the London Salon web site;  Hanbury Hall itself doesn't appear to have a web site,  and spitslfieldsvenue.org  didn't mention anything either.  Irritating.

However, the Brick Lane area is always interesting to visit.  We ate our packed lunch in Allen Gardens and then I strolled around looking at some of the amazing street art.  I found this guy preparing a new work.  I'm not sure what the finished piece will look like - it is tempting to go back shortly to find out.  The extra shows a wider view of his workspace.

Afterwards a wander through Spitalfields Market, then on to Moorgate and the Barbican.  It is astonishing how much that area has changed since I worked in Finsbury Circus some 35 years ago.
