Weird Wednesday

After the deluge of rain yesterday I walked the yard making sure my flowers were not bent over. They were okay but this iris leaf won the prize for most like an accordion! I have never seen one do this!

No buds on this one but the plant next to it has two blooms now. The irises might be like the daffodils...all leaves and no flowers.

We worked on the screen porch again today. Staining the new wood. Since we have a log home we wanted the color to blend in instead of being whitish. Tomorrow the screen will go up...maybe!
