Tromso

The weather was a bit more overcast but the views and seascape we experienced were still beautiful, although the land looks a lot more stark as we travel northwards.
We had quite a long stop in Tromso, gateway to the Arctic Ocean, so did a bit of exploring. The modern church in my main is called the Arctic Cathedral although technically it isn’t a cathedral as it doesn’t have a bishop. Tromso Cathedral is a large wooden structure in the centre of the town and it’s tall yellow spire can be seen between the two modern buildings in my second extra. The other extras are views from the waterfront, one showing the long bridge which connects Tromsoy (Tromso Island) to mainland Norway and is tall enough to allow our ship to pass under it.
