Dolores Foreman's House coming along

Finally got some progress in the last few days.  The blip is the front of the house.  The front porch is partway done - the posts will get trimmed and painted depot brown.  There is a metal roof for the porch as well.  Evidentially the Foreman's wife likes lace curtains - so I added some.  

The extra is the rear door.  It has a screen door as well.  A first for me in that the kit came with very fine mesh for the screen.  Some rust power and there it is.

The kit, while small, is one that you MUST read the directions carefully or you will make a mistake.  Everything goes together very well with little or no sanding.   This kit has great little details and all fits great.

You can see on the brown trim that it is weathered, as are the walls.  I think it is OK after the painting disaster I wrote about last blip.   On to the roof and the brown trim along the foundation wall!

BTW that funny piece on the porch is in the kit to hold the roof support while the glue dries.
