Palm Sunday

It's Palm Sunday today! So different this year. It was good to have a message first thing in the morning from SweetArt telling us she had taken some palm fronds from her garden to church.

We had a sister's Zoom call in the afternoon, not just to catch up but also because tomorrow is a special anniversary for us. I spent several hours before and after the call editing photos of EXPO 2020! And that was doing the ones I'd taken on 28th March!

We ventured out close to sunset to have a coconut milk treat. It's the first time we've been out at Iftar time. It wasn't busy, and we enjoyed people watching. I bought our drinks and then waited in the car for the cannon to go off so we could drink.

We decided to get some exercise in our usual patch in Za'abeel. G had the crazy idea to cross over the road and walk up the "mall" to Sheikh Mohammed's palace! It was interesting to approach it on foot. I wish I hadn't left the camera in the car!

Home to a light meal and to watch a Palm Sunday procession in Jerusalem (on YouTube) and a service from G's church in the UK - the Worthing Tabernacle.
