A Promise

I finally dug my finger out and did some gardening, in particular clearing the grass and weeds from the paths across the lawn (cutting the grass can wait 'til another day!). As I worked I noticed an orange many-spotted ladybird on a dead leaf; would it still be there if I ran in to get the camera? Of course not ... well I did have to wash my paws and change a lens first!

Looking round for any other delights to photo, I spotted one of my miniature apple trees with tight clusters of blossom ready to burst with their promise of Autumn delights.
