Cornish manky old ball - find number 2

We've been back in Cornwall for more than a week and have had friends staying for all of that time so Ann feels like she's been neglecting me. Obviously she hasn't been neglecting me because she would never, ever neglect me. And anyway it's been quite nice to have 'home alone' snooze time while she's been out socialising.

Caroline left this morning and Ann had promised me that she would take me on a big long walk today so that is what she did. Just look what I found....................... another manky old ball. Yay! Actually, there was nothing manky about it. It's a very nice ball. I carried it all the way home and put it into my toy bucket and then this afternoon Ann took me into the field so that I could play with it.

It's been lovely having Denise and Caroline to stay (and they have been perfect house guests – you can both come again) but we are sooooo looking forward to having the house to ourselves for a while. This evening is going to be sooooo nice. Just the two of us 'home alone' together.................. Ann's going to make a chicken curry with last nights left over roast chicken and I'm going to get some chicken with my dinner. Yum, yum, yum.

It's like 'life in lockdown' all over again.................... actually it's not because we are actually choosing to stay in home alone. Come home from the afternoon dog walk, Ann takes her bra off, I know, I know, far too much information pours herself a glass of wine and I snooze in my bed until it's time for my dinner.
