Greyness

It was a bit of that sort of morning but we got out to the beach awhile before the rain and wind swept in from the north east. By then the minky had been safely delivered to her nursery and we were off to Port Edgar’s Down the Hatch to sit outside and shiver awhile with R&E. An enjoyable escapade even although we were sold upgrades to wagu burgers as they saw us coming from some distance off.
Later we watched CODA, indeed, the Oscar winning best picture. *spoiler alert* My word, you could see where that was going from the off. Sentimental, you think? High school girl overcomes all obstacles and lands a plum college place? Family broke and friendless happily running a successful business surrounded by laughing colleagues? Amazing it isn’t on Disney. 
Talking of fairy tales, what about this: "In all frankness, at that time, it did not occur to me that this might have been a breach of the rules.” Frankness. Aye.
