Out for a sail as it was just so lovely. A good steady breeze, with very few gusts so I cut upstream past Oxcars and as close to Inchcolm as I’ve been. Exciting or what. The wind dropped a bit and I hove to off Barnbogle and sat in the sun with a coffee before summoning up courage for a big adventure, oh yes. Sailing through the gap in the needles between Cramond Island and the land. Whilst filming! Whooped, I did. And promptly dived down below to fetch a beer. No beer! Imagine. I had to crack open the Leith Rum.
And there on the pontoon were a few scallywags having a blether so it was good to chat awhile. Home feeling much contentment.
