Claw Carving

This is the handiwork of Minstrel. He has sharpened his claws on the Newel posts of the banister since he was a little kitten. There is one little bit that he has not touched though and that is in Extras - it is about 3mm high, so he has taken off around that amount all the way around this particular post. There's always a pile of little shreds of wood by the places he scratches.

Of course he has official scratching posts as part of his cat-trees, and he uses those too, as well as furniture from time to time - he isn't fussy! He must have the best claws in the country! And the best-marked territory! It's one of those things that you put up with when you have a pet to share your home and your life. We refer to it as his "Claw Carvings" - at least I do!! Not sure what Bri calls it!

I have been to my Dad's. He went for his vaccine and managed to find somewhere to park nearby - eventually.. There was a queue but as he and one or two others had booked they were given priority. One of the pharmacy ladies gave him some Dextrose tablets too, as he became aware that his sugar levels were dropping. He said she then waited with him and was very kind.

Things are generally OK over there. I had quite a few jobs to deal with today though. Grace brought me home - she was half an hour late!
