Dartford Warbler

I'm not going to win any wildlife photography competitions with this photo but I didn't have a long zoom lens on my camera and I didn't dare move any closer but even so, it was delightful to capture an image of this beautiful Dartford Warbler.  It looks like he had a caterpillar in his beak but he still managed to sing his scratchy song before flying off.

Just after this we saw a lizard.

H and I enjoyed a stroll around Kelling Heath in the sunshine today, the heath looked absolutely glorious again.
