Wood Nymph

The big event of today is that Allegra tested negative, and Nettie decided to leave her girls here while she went to the tax office; they got on like a house on fire. So this afternoon, we all went to theirs, and again, the kids had such fun, as did we, walking over her land, covered in flowers and rocks, and trees and swings and wonderful views of both Mourão and Monsaraz.

See extra of the kids together, but had to put Allegra with wild irises in her hair for the main.

Lent verses were Matthew 26v14-25, where Jesus is eating his last meal with the disciples and tells them:
One of you is going to hand me over to the conspirators.

And so, Judas, who ate with him daily, hands Jesus over, and Jesus hands over his life because of his great love for us, even when we betray him.

Gratefuls:
- seeing Zion running about again and eating
- lovely Netty and her girls
- the amazing beauty of all the flowers everywhere, huge swathes of lavender and camomile and rock roses and all sorts

- came back to add one more: delicious, homemade hot cross buns that Netty brought us, made by an English lady we've never met. None of us had felt like breakfast (we're all a bit iffy still), so it was the perfect first meal of the day, with coffee. They're not a thing in Portugal.
