Getting Put Together

Deb is reading Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire aloud to Zion as I speak; he normally prefers to read to himself, but still feeling fairly fragile - no throwing up today, though, and bits of food consumed, hurray! And I'm also a lot better, thinking it must have been a tummy bug... but who knows?

Anyway, another day more or less in the house; really hoping for an outing tomorrow. Zion just wasn't up for it today, plus lots of rain (which is a good thing, but not conducive to going out, nor to our electricity supply - it ran out in the night, and still in danger zone now).

Lent verses were John 13v21-38, Jesus to Peter on the night before he died, Peter swearing he would even give his life for him:
Really? You'll lay down your life for me? The truth is that before the cockerel crows, you'll deny me three times.

As indeed, he did. As do we. But Jesus goes on loving us and forgiving us.

Gratefuls:
- Zion and I getting better, and everyone else pretty good as well
- all those who prayed for us, and all your good wishes for us yesterday, this kind community
- a bit of sunshine, we even ate lunch outside
