Life through the lens...

Magnolia

I was afraid our neighbour’s magnolia had been caught by the frost, but the flowers have opened in this warm weather with just little brown edges here and there.
Looked beautiful in the sunshine today.

A beautiful Good Friday. Temperature up to 20C. One of those days when it felt warmer out than in.

After a morning doing the usual shopping at the farm shop, and washing some bedding, I spent the afternoon in the garden.
Bought some treats at the farm shop. First English asparagus from Kent, and some delicious Belgium strawberries.

I made a fish pie for tea, and then had an Eaton Mess for afters.
Opened one of the white wines we bought on Monday night. The South African Chenin Blanc went perfectly with the pie.

Now looking forward to watching Beechgrove.
So glad it is back again, and now on BBC 2 at 7.30pm.on Fridays.

Hope you are all enjoying the Easter Hollidays.
