Easter Flowers

There are no flowers in the snowy world outside, but that makes it even more important to have flowers inside.
Glorious weather today with a bright warm sun and a clear blue sky.
We spent a large part of the day inside doing a big spring clean and sort - it was a very worthwhile job because at the end you could see a big difference.
Went to the cathedral in town to see  "Way of the Cross", music by Marcel Dupré, and words by Paul Claudel, written in 1931. The cathedral organist, Lars G Fredriksson was playing the new organ, with a Swedish actor reading the text. Dupre was a brilliant organist and apparently wrote organ music that was very hard to play. Lars likes a challenge and with the new organ we can watch him play. His hands were flying around the keyboards and his feet were also pressing buttons, pedals and panels. It was an impressive performance, very dark and I found the music quite disturbing. I'm sure it was written to disturb, Jesus' last few hours being a sombre tale.
We invited our friends Karin and Ylva (sisters) and Lars the organist back to ours for dinner. They came and we had a lovely dinner and evening.
